SCREW SPURS.

Aaron Lennon's injury-time equaliser capped a stunning fightback from Harry Redknapp's Tottenham against Arsenal.

David Bentley's brilliant early strike put Spurs ahead, but Mikael Silvestre headed Arsenal level before half-time.

William Gallas put Arsenal in front seconds after the re-start and Emmanuel
Adebayor bundled home their third.

Darren Bent pulled one back before Robin van Persie added Arsenal's fourth - but Jermaine Jenas's 89th-minute goal and Lennon's tap-in earned a point.

Bentley's audacious opener gave Redknapp the perfect start to his first official game in charge, but that early optimism soon disappeared as Arsenal took total control of the north London derby.

But once again Arsenal were guilty of their familiar crime of > over-elaboration and missed chances , leaving the door open for Spurs to rescue a point from a game that looked lost.

Redknapp restored Jonathan Woodgate to his starting line-up, but lost captain Ledley King because of his long-standing knee injury.

Spurs opened up Arsenal inside two minutes when Tom Huddlestone slid in Gareth Bale, who shot into the side-netting.

But they were ahead after 13 minutes - and it was a piece of genius by former Arsenal midfield man Bentley that gave them the goal.
He took a Huddlestone header and teed himself up for a stunning volley from 40 yards that Arsenal keeper Manuel Almunia touched but could not keep out.

Arsenal took up the challenge and Van Persie was twice a threat in the immediate aftermath of Bentley's goal, forcing Heurelho Gomes into a save low down and then shooting just wide.

Gallas then shot over after a Gomes fumble before both Theo Walcott and Cesc Fabregas tested the Spurs keeper.

An Arsenal equaliser looked on the cards, but Spurs will have been deeply unhappy about the manner in which it arrived eight minutes before the interval.

Spurs felt Bentley had been fouled by Fabregas in the lead up to an Arsenal corner, and their misery increased when Gomes made an awful attempt to deal with Van Persie's corner and Silvestre headed home.

For all Arsenal's trademark pretty passing, they were making inroads at set pieces and scored from another less than a minute after the re-start.

Van Persie whipped in a free-kick from the right and Gallas rose to glance in a header that Gomes could only touch on its way in.

Bentley tested Almunia from long range again before Adebayor extended Arsenal's lead after 64 minutes.

Van Persie was the creator with a superb pass that let in Samir Nasri, and when he lifted the ball over Gomes, Adebayor beat Alan Hutton in a straight race to poke home from almost on the goal-line.

It was looking very ominous for a deflated Spurs side, but they were thrown a lifeline three minutes later when Almunia fumbled Huddlestone's shot and substitute Bent turned in the rebound.

But any hopes Spurs harboured of a revival appeared to be snuffed out within two minutes, when Hutton gifted possession to Adebayor, who set up Van Persie for a powerhouse finish.

When Jenas curled in a clever finish with a minute of normal time remaining, it looked like it would provide nothing more than an anxious finale for the Gunners.

But with seconds left of the four minutes of injury time, Luka Modric's shot was deflected on to an upright and substitute Lennon was in the perfect position to slot in the rebound and spark wild scenes of celebration from the Spurs contingent.

first was for sec 1s, go grandstand for the prize presentation ceremony, sec 2s at area below canteen. gave out the inter house events and games de medals ~ lmao soccer de philippe get third. the medals are all screwed o.0. a little rust all over, coz they got in the rain b4 during april when the events were held but just shortly after the 100m event it rained, and all events were cancelled, including the sports.

then at 0900. go auditorium, need to listen to goh yong han de cca talk -.- REMIND rather than teach us how to earn cca points, commitment all these. we stoned there for 45 mins until early recess at 0945-1015.

went eat with 1-1 ppl, then see new sec 1 prefects there doing duty like BRENDAN rofl. he also like me got sabo-ed by seniors wakaka. i told mr teo during the interview i preferred council wakaka. brendan was at the drinks stall, suan him a little, go cut queue hoho.

went down the stairs. saw another new prefect MALCOLM wakaka. suann.

in the end leon didnt go TT, guai lan(jk) stay in the mrt coach with wilson say want go his house =.= so we 5 ppl took 70 to gordon's house at yio chu kang mrt there, haven eat lunch so went to eat at the coffeeshop. gordon and i ate laksa, joshua play psp, brendan and matthew buy wanton mee. the food was okay ~

and while we were eating it RAINED ;(. then after gordon's assurance that he would book the multipurpose court for street soccer and bball then i went with them. while i was trying to open my umbrella they chiong in the rain, i remained dry coz had umbrella xD.

then we slacked at gordon's house until 1608, playing volleyball with soccer ball, laptop, psp. went to get the key for the street soccer court, then the security guard tell us play until like 1715 coz others booked 1730. me and joshua one team, gordon brendan matthew another for soccer. was totally off form in the court lol xD wearing my mercurial, i either got tackled or slid 3 times rawr. the floor was still partially wet. play halfway, one p6 guy from ACS joined us, joined our team, then we played until 20 goals first. think we lost haha ^^.

then 5+, p6 and sec 1s joined us prior to a 16 yr old. then we play about 7 v 8? wakaka this time i 70% on le LOL, tricks working ~ then matthew scored 5 goals thanks to his pressuring and act pros from the opposition rofl. i scored 1 goal ^^ was left to defend, coz those who joined us cat high were playing up front. lol the sec 4 de zham pwned xD. i defended one of his shots with my thigh, burning sensation there =X made frens while playing, then one p6 was Tampines Rovers youth o.0. got to know each other =) then we played until 1817 ( i check my phone for the time lolz), which was the time when matthew kicked out the ball we were using, brendan one, and into the yard oh somebody's dilapidated house -.- later knew it was chinese workers' dorm.

haha matthew confirmed that this year also have inter class soccer comp. think 1-9 will own rofl.

we went lounge buy refreshments. then went to retrieve the ball, going out of the condo and walked to the house there. no lock, so we just went in, brendan and i stayed inside ahead of the entrance, while matthew quickly chiong to the backyard and get the ball.

so we walked out and to the bus stop and i took 854 home ^^ the air con was cold on my drenched shirt xD.
